Springfield Prep’s Brooke Yuen Selected for 2025 Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award

Springfield Prep is proud to announce that third-grade teacher Brooke Yuen has been selected as a 2025 Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award winner. This prestigious award, now in its 22nd year, is made possible by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Irene E. & George A. Davis Foundation and is supported by American International College, Arrha Credit Union, Country Bank, and Meyers Brothers Kalicka.

Brooke was honored during an all-school Community Meeting on February 13, 2025, where students and staff celebrated her outstanding contributions. As part of this well-deserved recognition, she will receive an engraved plaque and a $250 check.

She also helped found and now coaches Springfield Prep’s new soccer team, further strengthening the school’s community. Known for her leadership, passion, and unwavering support, Brooke is a dedicated role model who inspires those around her.

Brooke has been a valued member of Springfield Prep for 6 years and embodies the school’s mission to prepare students for success in high school, college, and life through rigorous academics and character development.
